21st Century Learning Skill

Learning activities are activities that require our commitment to change students’ behavior. The behaviors are prepared to students’ futures which are more complexity. To deal with this condition, the government should guarantee the best education for its citizens. The government should manage a balanced opportunity in education, improving the quality, and efficiency of management in education. These are important and urgency steps to deal with dynamic world development. The development is rapidly in workforces, science and technology, arts and other dynamic developments.

Educational boarding should upgrade students’ competencies by synchronizing with future requirement. The boarding should manage educational curricula that support students to develop their competencies (science, technology and arts).

 There are at least four skills which students have to master (called 21^st century skills);

1.              Way of thinking, there are several ways of thinking that students need to have; creative thinking, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making.

2.              Ways of working, the capability how they have to work with other people around the world directly or via ICT tools. So that, students should maintain their skills to ble to communicate and collaborate each other beyond the territorial limits.  The future communications are by using various ways, methods and strategies. Mainly by involving the ICT tools.

3.             Tools for working, everyone has to master media for work that support his job activities. ICT literacy is an obligation to be mastered. So that, people will be easier to manage their work in their work places.

4.             Skills for living in the world, the capability to their life in the 21^st century era. The skills of living consist of Citizenship, life and career, and personal and social responsibility. The ways how students encounter their life as a citizenship, life and carrier, and responsibility to their own and socially.

That all the skills that students have to be prepared for their future life.
